Një familje shqiptare në tranzicionin e dhimbshëm jeton me hallet e shqetësimet e përditëshme. Dy fëmijët largohen në emigracion ndërsa tek prindërit shfaqen dramat tronditëse që shkaktohen nga largësia. Nëna sëmuret dhe vdes. I shoqi nuk ka guxim t'ia thotë fëmijëve lajmin e hidhur. Mbi varrin e saj mbjell luleborën që kanë dërguar ata larg.

English Synopsis: It is the beginning of a painfull transition. An Albanian family who lives on the everyday problems and preoccupation suddenly suffers the big trauma: both children of the family emigrate to Italy while the parents suffer this drama caused by distance. The mother gets sick and dies. Her husband has no courage to give the painfull notice to the children. On her grave he sows the snow flower thet their children send for her.
